I have been out 'job shopping' yesterday. After calling all the potential employers and making interview appointments for the day, i began my 'job travel' experience at 10am. Because it was going to be a long, hectic day...i dragged along my loving bf for some support. Hehe.
10:00am My interview was supposed to be at 10.30am but still no sign of my bf. I was
running late. =( He finally showed up at 10.10am and i drove like a mad woman to
the interview venue. I made it just in time.
10.30am After parking the car, we made our way up the lift and found the office. Just outside
the office, i stood there stunned and shocked. Looking through the glass door, there
was like 12 other people interviewing for the job! OMG!!! This so look like one of those
scences you only see in Chinese TV dramas showing on Wah Lai Toi (ASTRO)
channel. Where you go to an interview thinking that the boss was already expecting
you, but you feel so scared and nervous that you barely made it on time, only to be
disappointed once you reached there to find 12 other people waiting there for their
turns! Fine, ok...and just like any Wah Lai Toi series would continue...I approached the
receptionist who then gave me the clipboard to fill in a application form and told to go
sit with the rest. Haha.
10.50am Ok, after spending 15 minutes on the application form (ya, it took THAT long
since they thought it was appropriate to ask you about every single school you went
to since you were born...haha), I was starting to get so bored of waiting. My best
friend called me on my handphone and we chatted for 10 minutes. =p
11.00am Oh my bloody God! I ended my conversation with my friend on the phone and it was
STILL not my turn! Finally at 11.30am after waiting an hour, it was my turn! Only to
be disappointed that the interview session lasted for only 5 minutes! (I was
interviewed by this fast talking lady who i suspected wasn't even the "manager" as
stated at her door. Oh ya, and they offered me RM1,000 per month for the job. Haha.
(This whole office looks phony with its noisy fish aquarium and
wall paintings that looked like they have been purchased from Cash Converter) and a
loud radio blarring with a tone deaf receptionist.
12.00noon Have a break for lunch with my bf while chatting with him about my bad interview
experience.
1.00pm Sat the LRT down to my next interview at KL. Waited like half an hour for the
interviewer to showed up. Her deal: You get paid RM1,000 for =working 9am-9pm,
working even on public holidays and sat & sundays included! Wat the fuck!!! If i
needed such a job, i could have worked in a shopping mall...what for worked in a
office! So no life wan ppl working here! (I couldn't disclose the name of this certain high profile company in fear that they will sue me back-la. But i just wanna say...all this big shot company, with their big shot cars and their big shot house and big shot dogs, can't even pay their workers decent amount of money to work for them...Aiyo....you think u very big shot meh?? Think you are who....Donald Trump meh....? If you Donald Trump, ppl work for you for free somemore.! And ppl give Donald Trump stuff for free somemore! Cheh!)
