RM 1, useless?

The Malaysian Government recently announced that the RM1 coin would cease circulation and no longer valid for trade in December 2005. This was due to some counterfeiting geniuses who thought it was cool to imitate the golden RM1 coin. But imagine all the horror and rude shocks Malaysian have to go through with this counterfeiting problem. I have encountered two such experiences, one probably 3 months ago before this news was even announced and another, just today morning!

Experience one: (happened 3 months ago)
I just parked my car and was heading over for my beauty classes in SS2, PJ. But not before getting my money sucked by the Government for parking in their parking spaces...ridiculious considering I already paid for road taxes! Haha... anyway, i slot my RM1 coin in the parking meter machine and it does not seem to accept. Not happy with the machine, i tried twice again. Nope, they hated my money. Given up, i called out to the female parking attendant who was nearby chatting to her male collegues.
ME: "Eh, mesin ini tak boleh guna RM1 ke?" (This machine doen't accept RM1 coin?)
BITCH: "Ini RM1 duit tipu...kalau tak boleh masuk, mesti lah duit tipu" (This is a fake RM1 coin, if it doesn't accept, then it's fake).
ME: "?? Ha...ya ke? (??..ha..really?)
BITCH: You tak baca paper ke? Apa pun u tak baca... (U don't read the papers? U don't read anything huh?).
ME: (By this time i'm too humilated to even speak! How could she humilate me in front of all her male collegues! This bitch probably wants to impress her male collegues by making me look silly. The male collegues giggle and laugh all the way...leaving me too 'tu lan' to say anything!) Arg!!!

Experience two:
I'm paying for my breakfast at the bakery counter. The cashier was this lan-si looking chinese girl. (No racism intended...just description).
Girl: "RM1 miss".
ME: pulled out the RM1 coin and handed it over to her.
Girl: "Sorry miss, we don't accept the RM1 coin!"
ME: Damn piss...give her RM5 paper note instead.
What the fuck is the matter now?? Didn't the Government said that ALL traders have to continue accepting the RM1 coin until December??! Why all this ah sohs and taukehs think they can bully some innocent civilian? Think what...RM1 coin still money mar...don't want izzit? Then i take your stupid donut for FREE la...can or not?? I paid u oldi....u don't want only mar.... (I wished i was tough enough to have said that in her face this morning!) Sien sien... =(
