Bidor is a small town in the district of Batang Padang, Perak, Malaysia,chinese name is 美罗. Bidor is located between Ipoh and Kuala Lumpur via the North-South Expressway (NKVE).
Back in the old days, travellers use the trunk road when the highway was not completed yet. Travellers travel between small towns and stop by towns such as Bidor to grab a bite before continuing their journey. Till today, Bidor still serves as an important and famous stop when folks would stop by to savour Bidor's well known food.
Bidor's most famous delicacy would undoubtly be the duck-thigh-noodle available at the famous Pun Chun restaurant. It is located on the main street. Pun Chun is also famous for its 'Sat Kai Ma' - a type of sweet dessert and also 'Kai Jai Peng' which is chicken biscuit. Other than these, Pun Chun also sells other famous delicacies such as Ipoh White Coffee, dragonball biscuits and many more.
The duck thigh noodles here has a rich taste to it. The meat is soft and the portion is large too. The soup version taste better than the dried one. Many outstation folks come here to savour this delicious noodles. It is so famous, it also has write ups in newspapers.

Bidor is also famous for its seedless guava and its durian. You can find many stalls selling petais and seedless guava outside Pun Chun rest.
The Chinese folks here are able to converse in Cantonese and are generally quite a friendly town. You can spot tourist from Penang, up north and even Johor, right up to Singaporeans.
