Credit card, credit card...FREE for life! Anyone?

I'm sure many of you guys out there has fallen victim to the credit card promotions. Free handphones, fax machine, coffee maker, umbrellas and calculators are enough to make people sway to the idea. Imagine you have worked from 9-5 everday, and once it's weekends, everyone looks forward to a great night out at the shopping malls, catching a movie or indulging in good food. While you were walking and enjoying the relaxing atmosphere, the credit card sales team approached you out of somewhere and bugged you to sign up. If you say no, they will continue pestering you and shoving the free gifts in your face.

Here are some cons of credit cards which has been carefully camoflauged by the sales people who use carefully crafted and enticing words to make us apply. Hehe.
Our credit card is FREE for life!- (ya, under conditions mar that you have to swipe your card
more than about 14 times a year).
FREE Samsung/Sony/Nokia camera handphones when u apply!- (haiyo...you will only get the free phone if your application is approved mar. Somemore you have to subscribe to CELCOM/DIGI or MAXIS for 1 and 1/2 years mar).
No annual fees for first 2 years (yala, but you must use the card at least 3 times in 45 days lor).
We give you up to RM4K credit limit (aiyo, wat for? My salary RM1,500 a month also can apply the credit card, if i really use RM4k a month, i have to owe the bank money, kena charge interest and have bad debts. Why give me RM4k to use when i only got RM1,500 per month? Wan me to die meh? Use first, die later. Haha.
