Job titles past and present

Remember the ol' days when job salaries were so low but when food were so cheap, nobody complains? My mom used to tell me her monthly salary was lower than RM900 but a bowl of beehoon soup was less than 80cents? In those days, people had to take a bus, or walk or cycled to work and work long hours. They probably even saved on petrol costs. Conventional bosses hire workers and gave them sucky job titles that has been given a more 'high class' twist now. Let's consider some of these examples:

Past Present
Office Boy > Despatch clerk (sounds less pityful).
Insurance Agent > Financial Planners (fuyoo...actually still a bunch of
annoying ppl trying to sell you insurance plans
incase u die.....choi!).
Workers > Employees (sounds more respectable).
Real Estate Agents > Negotiators (woah...need i say more?).
Waitress > Service Crew
Sales girl/boy > Sales Advisor/ sales executive
Toilet cleaner > Hygiene Officer (kekeke)
