PHARMA BULLETIN 2008

All's Well that ended in a Farewell

Sept 12, 2008 - KUALA LUMPUR

SCHERING PLOUGH, a top pharmaceutical company in the US, bids Ms. Emily Lee Yiin Keet a grateful farewell on her last day here at Schering Plough's Malaysia's HQ based at Wisma UOA Damansara II, Kuala Lumpur.
Serving under the Specialty Care Business Unit as a Therapeutic Specialist, she handled Suboxone; a drug substitution therapy for heroin dependence patients. In the past 7 months here, she had taken care of the Klang territory, up to Slim River in Perak. She has contributed an average of RM200K sales per month to the team or RM1.2 Million in the past 7 months to the Specialty Care Business Unit. We would like to thank her for her great effort in not only doing her part to contribute to the 51% of SUBOXONE being the anchor product in Specialty Care, but also in her effort to bringing at least RM200K per month to the company, which really helps in sponsoring our new lofty, chic, elegant office in Wisma UOA Damansara II which also happens to have THE MOST expensive postcode in Kuala Lumpur..."50490 Damansara Heights which = to Beverly Hills 90210" standards.

Miss Emily is a tough lady. A woman of elegance who came into SP looking like an elite. Dressed immaculately and sexy, groomed to perfection...not a single hair out of place. Her nails were manicured and her favourite colour is pink. All eyes were on her---people wondering how can a person who looks this sweet be able to handle a notorious drug like Suboxone...a drug which isn't black or white, it is gray and somewhere in between. Addiction treatment doctors were tough to handle---cunning as ever, manipulative, calculative, some even nasty and materialistic. There are a few which happens to be pretty okay though. She stuck it out, beared the consequences and done pretty okay. From being terrified of drug addicts, ending up in strange towns which you only heard from elections and clinic toilets which competes to be "the worst toilet of the year", she adapted and handled her territory like a man. Drug addicts, dirty toilets, lonely roads and endless winding roads with no streetlights does not put fear in her eyes anymore. She was persistent and hardworking, insist of good customer service. Never failed to see all her doctors no matter how small their orders, no matter how far away they are. Dedicated and loyal, smart and intelligent. Great product knowledge and detailing skills. We would like to deeply apologize to this gorgeous super woman that stuck it out with us to the end. If it wasn't for the PTP, we would never in our dreams ever think of letting go such a great employee. MSD is surely very lucky to have you.
